Our first visit will be to Chinchero, a picturesque town where we can see agricultural terraces, the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui, the beautiful colonial church built on the foundations of an Inca structure, and observe the entire wool process, from washing and spinning to creating beautiful textiles. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at Moray, where we will see several natural depressions that were once agricultural terraces.
Then we will continue to the Maras Salt Mines, where we will observe the natural salt extraction process dating back to the time of the Incas. Afterward, we will head to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by the inhabitants of the jungle.
Afterward, back on the bus, we will travel to the town of Urubamba, where we will have our buffet lunch. After lunch, we will go to the town of Pisac, where we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Complex, built during the reign of the Inca Pachacuti.
Its location is strategic, as it is situated atop a mountain, offering a panoramic view of the entire valley leading to Antisuyo. At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m.
