Tour Maras and Moray Half Day

Itinerary:

The tour begins with hotel pick-up between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. We will then begin our journey northwest of the city of Cusco, passing through typical towns with beautiful landscapes. The first stop will be the town of Maras, from where you can appreciate the peaks of the Vilcanota mountain range covered in perpetual snow, such as the snow-capped mountains of El Chicón and La Verónica. Next, we will visit the Moray Archaeological Complex, a set of enormous terraces that overlap concentrically in a gigantic depression, which in Inca times served for the study of agriculture. After that, we will visit the Salt Mines, which consist of approximately 2,000 small pools with an average area of ​​about 5 m², exploited since Inca times, through the colonial period, and still being worked by the local people. After our visit, we will return to the city of Cusco. Arriving in Cusco at approximately 2:00 p.m.
