Tour Machu Picchu By Car 2 D/1 N

DAY 1:  CUSCO - AGUAS CALIENTES

Pick-up will be at Plazoleta Regocijo between 7:10 and 7:20 a.m. We will then begin our journey to Hidroeléctrica. The car ride will take approximately 6 hours, so don't forget to bring a book or your music player to pass the time. During the drive, we will enjoy breathtaking scenery, passing through the heights of Abra Málaga to the lush green cloud forest of Santa María and Santa Teresa. There, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then continue by car to Hidroeléctrica. From this point, we will begin a 2.5-hour hike, following the train tracks, to reach the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Aguas Calientes.

Early the next day, our tour to the wonder of the world, Machu Picchu, begins. The visit starts with pre-tour briefings. We will board our tourist transport to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The visit will last 2 to 2.5 hours with our guide, depending on the time and circuit chosen. This day you will have a guided tour of one of the Wonders of the World in a unique experience. After our guided tour, we will begin a return hike to Hidroeléctrica, where our transfer will be waiting. We will then board our tourist transport to the city of Cusco. Our tour ends at San Francisco Square at approximately 9 pm.
